@@TheGr8one1022 Get the hell out of here with that noise. MMA has so much more going for it than boxing. in MMA, you'll fight a wide variety of fight styles that you can never truly be prepared for. It's damn near impossible to stay undefeated in boxing, it's pretty much a given to be impossible in MMA. You might fight someone who's not as big in status but they will bring something you've never seen before. Anderson won and when he did it was in amazing fashion. He also has one of the most sensational win streaks in all of combat sports.

I'm glad that the UFC still shares moments of Pride. Pride FC was really unique and special during the golden era of MMA - from the opening ceremony, the walkwouts, the announcers and commentators (Lenne Hardt, Bas Rutten, Mauro Ranallo, Stephen Quadros), the knowledgeable Japanese fans (who respected every fighter who stepped into that ring), soccer kicks, stomps, yellow cards, kicking grounded opponents, 10 min first rounds, tournaments, the occasional freak matches, rivalries and legendary fights. For those that have never watched a full card from beginning to end, I highly recommend it. I went to Pride 33 and it was incredible. Nick Diaz vs Gomi, Wanderlie vs Henderson. Some of my favs: Pride Total Elimination 2003 Pride 24 Cold Fury 3 Pride Grand Prix 2005 Final Conflict Pride Shockwave 2005

@Dylan C have u watched pride? I disagree with u on many aspects First thing freak show fights for me was really cool.if it wasnt for pride we would never no what actually happens in a freak show fight. It gave a exciting mythical feel to the show. Second thing the shape of the ring and it being considerably smaller than the octagon gave aggressive fighters a significant edge. Fighters like crocop and wanderlei used this to their advantage. Crocop used to cut off the corners of the ring to trap opponents .that is one of the reason why some ufc fighters will never find sucess in the ring and some pride fighters will never find sucess in the octagon. The ring made it almost into an entirely different sport Third thing is the fights due to the ring shape and size were much more exciting and aggressive.a fighter like machida would have got knocked out sooner in the ring if he fights top fighters then. Fourth thing many pride fighters as well as ufc fighters were on roids at the time.but ufc fighters had to be more careful and innovative in the steroid cycling as they have more chance to get caught.there was no usada during those days. Lastly for me who watched both pride and ufc fights I dont know why it just felt little more better.even the camera When fedor ground and pound nogueira the camera angle gave the viewer what nogueira felt during those punches Japanese just did things better in case of entertainment value. And dont tell me about the first time I saw someone getting stomped the shock value was unbelievable The team rivalries like chute boxes vs top team I could go on and on

The Gomi-Azeredo fight is from Bushido 7, not 9 (that was the rematch). A bit of context: Azeredo was consistently getting the better of the exchanges and making Gomi look pretty bad, so Gomi was clearly in a bad mood and continued to attack Azeredo even after knocking him out. Great video. Nice you included the Randleman Fedor slam! There's so many more great moments y'all should definitely make more videos like this. Rampage slamming Arona, Liddell knocking out Overeem, so many moments.

Brutal slam don't get me wrong, but if you watch closely he breaks some of the fall with his arm first. If he didn't do that he may have come out of that fight alot worse off.
