Yeah I haven’t even watched the first episode but I was sure it was going to be boring. I’ve always loved TUF but last season was just constant sob stories and fighters crying about their families with very little insight into the fighters training, strategizing about opponents and the team interactions in the house. Those three things and the fights is all I care about. I don’t need to hear 20-25 minutes of fighters crying about missing their wife, gf, kids, etc with footage of them at home with their families. It’s not interesting at all.

Yeah, I'm from Dublin myself, he's got himself involved with some bad people for sure, like hea got a lower class north dublin accent but hes actually from the south side of Dublin, moneys gone to his head. A lot of successful Irish people do turn to dr*gs and heavy alcoholism and i can see it by how he acts. You can still tell he's an intelligent well put together, but hes simultaneously falling apart.
@OwlOfNivica

@@robertmcdonald8042 interesting stuff when you think about it. In a bigger scale it’s crazy how much fighting is valued in human subconscious, one gets elevated to heroic proportions. It must be extremely difficult to deal with if it usually leads to assumingely rampant substance abuse in many cases.

@@MagomedMagomedov4 it's not as entertaining as it used to be. When the opening episode would have a load of fights and the coaches are sat together often bickering with Dana sat between them was better. This episode was boring in comparison. @@williamRE Never commented whether he was or not. I would however bet top dollar that he did not take enormous doses of HGH on a continuous basis. Quite possible that he dabbled in PEDs. If anything though, it's more likely he would have used HGH secretagogues like 'MK-677' and 'Ipamorelin/cjc1295'. Great for recovery, all the while really reducing the exogenous HGH side effects. Most athletic young guys already have good Test levels, what you really want is something to help accelerate recovery. Anabolic PEDs come with too many downsides.

Not a huge fan of the format of this season’s competition. The coaches didn’t pick individual fighters AND they didn’t pick the matches. I personally liked the strategy involved in picking teams and trying to strategize the matchups. Maybe this Round Robin type might showcase the, I’ll fight anyone attitude they want? Maybe there’s more coaching since they know their opponents beforehand? Or maybe I was so used to the old? - curious what you guys think
