@@remyhavoc4463 Bruh, everyone is on steroids, and half the time people win it's because their opponent was injured during camp. Not trying to be a Debby downer, but to think UFC is based only on skill is insane. They were about to give Colby his walking papers for being boring, about to cut men's flyweight for being too small, and considering cutting women's featherweight for being too shallow. No actual "sport" should function like that. Or maybe I am naive and all these sports are selling wolf tickers like the UFC. Either ways, Strickland lost to the best kickboxer in the UFC right now. Which is understandable, looking forward to his future bookings.

I think Sean was confident with his striking defense from his previous fights so he used it to move forward and put pressure on Alex. We saw Sean was always moving forward but focusing on his defense more than offense. Sean knows Alex is always prepared for grappling since that’s been most of his opponents gameplan in MMA so he wasn’t pushing his grappling early. What scares me about this guy is his composure, how he controls himself in that pressure. He might look like your average tough guy, but Alex is a different beast. There is something primal involved there. The second thing his how weird, unnatural and hidden his punches or movements look. If it looks bad to me, I assume that means that his movements are so refined that the unexperienced fans such as myself can’t comprehend the mechanics behind them. Free flow movement, all his body parts are flexible and malleable and yet the most important thing he wastes no unnecessary movements, losing power on the meantime. (The same principle could be found at how one inch punch works). Truly an inspiration!

Beautiful set up with the body kicks. Lured Sean into that left hook. Perfect plant on that rear foot, bend and twist, got Sean to reach for that kick snapped that left hook in there. Punch I used often!

He wasnt just a loud mouth to Izzy but has been a shit talker and saying dumb things since way before the presser. And he said stuff about Alex too, "All he has is a left hook and kicks" and then proceeds to get knocked out by said left hook. But if you're gonna trash talk the current champion you better make sure you get to him at least. His "point that didn't go wrong" hardly holds any water now since he got KO'd by an unranked fighter. That's a strange defense of Strickland.

It definitely will be interesting fight for sure between Alex and Izzy. His height and reach is evenly match with Izzy, and he has the iq and skillset to beat Izzy again but the main difference is he has the power to shut down izzy with one punch while izzy need volume and needs to land clean to finish his opponent.

Man I thought he was going to win but I didn't think he would finish him in the first. Sean is no one's stepping stone and Alex finishing him in two minutes is a big statement. I wanna see him against a wrestler to see how well rounded he is but this is more fun and interesting. Will Izzy try to take down Alex or will he stand with him. Can't wait to see this fight

Pereira is a BJJ black belt so I don’t think Adesanya’s grappling will be all that effective since he’s more of a defensive grappler to keep the fight standing rather than submit people.
