Back in the day when boxing was it, we knew who the winner was because the other guy was on the canvas. The challenger to the champion had to literally knock the champ out to win... All draws in any sport should have Overtime as they do in American Football or Extended rounds as they do in the UFC Challenger Series.

The judges suck but nowhere near as much as the UFC fanbase... hard to be mad at the judges when you got so many casuals in the comment section giving their ridiculously uneducated scores hours after the fight...

Great fight, but that 10-8 R5 is a joke, we need to start holding these judges accountable.

please give us the trilogy early next year man the score has to be settled once and for all. It was way too close of a fight. I still don't know who to give round 4 to even after rewatching the fight. It was super close but that 10-8 in the fifth round for grasso is absurd. Book Fiorot vs Blanchfield in a number one contender fight.

10-10 - equal round, I think I've only seen that once, maybe more because sometimes they didn't explain "weird" results like 30-28 on prelims etc. and I didn't investigate 10-9 - slight advantage 10-8 - domination 10-7 - near finish - I think it was only given twice in UFCs history I watched all UFCs from 1993. We need way more 10-10's but also 10-8's, they give them too rarely. Some people think of 10-8 as if it was 10-7. Even Dana White said that "back in the day they would give 10-8 if there was almost finish". No, that's where they should have given a 10-7! Too often we had results where there was domination (even near-finish) in round 1 by a fighter who consequently got too tired and lost rounds 2 and 3 by small margin and the end result? He loses 28-29. As Sonnen once said: "If you don't win by knockout in round 1, you lose the [boring] decision". The 5th round was domination for Alexa. Neither 10-9 nor 10-8 is controversial in that case. If it was scored 10-9 and Valentina would have subsequently won, then while within the rules, it would still have been an unfair result, too.
