No the last bout Moreno won, he devastated him in my opinion, Pantoja only put takedowns that did nothing to Brandon, who refiled, elbows on guard, series of body-head blows, approaching elbows, jabs, hooks, etc etc

i’m on the same boat too. sucks bc i like moreno a lot, but 2 wins over moreno will already play a huge factor in the 3rd. there’s a lot of pressure, and pantoja already has so much knowledge of this fighter

Even though he lost, you could tell Moreno had SOMETHING about him. This was the last season of TUF I watched live and I remember being impressed with his boxing for someone with BJJ credentials. First round he was throwing some excellent combos for his level of experience. I’m his first UFC run he started training with Duane Ludwig and he tried to make him fight a style that didn’t really fit him hence him getting pieced up by Pettis and struggling on the feet vs Pantoja as well in their second fight. But when he left UFC he focused on his real strength on the feet which has always been his boxing and it paid dividends. Now he’s refined enough that he can properly incorporate kickboxing into his game too and as we have seen he now has a solid kicking game too even though its unorthodox

Eles tiveram caminhos diferentes. Moreno teve mais sorte. Evoluiu e conseguiu crescer. Já Pantoja teve menos sorte suas lesões acabaram lhe tirando de lutas importantes e se afastando do cinturão. Lesionado, fora de forma teve que trabalhar até de UBER para se sustentar nos Estados Unidos. Mas consegui se reenguer e tem grande chance de levar o cinturão.

Great fights... This TUF which sent Moreno home. Cejudo & the opposite coach both said highly sought comments about him & boy did he learn from this & come back. Pantoja went onto win the rematch & if I'm honest does look like he's got Moreno's number. However This IS where Moreno shines !! My heart says Moreno, my head says Pantoja. C'mon 🙌 Baby Assassin 💪

wow this version of pantoja was honestly pretty bad, its crazy how good he is now and sadly moreno looked better here but eventually lost and sense they both made it into the ufc pantoja kept evolving so much moreno could not handle him the second fight and imo i dont see anything changing in their third match.

yea it was clear who was the better fighter back then pantoja looked bad but he seem to have good submission skill, his stand up on the other hand wild and not very effective at times. but todays pantoja and even in their second fight shows how damn quickly he improved as a fighter.

Brandon had no defense back in this fight. His grappling def, his high guard and his ability to skip and punch in the pocket had greatly improved. Pumped to see Brandon get his redemption
