Ya believe it or not, MMA has the least amount of deaths as a result of traumatic brain injury. As compared to boxing where a participant takes an EXTENSIVE amounts of small shots throughout their careers. All of those strikes build up and cause tons of damage. In regards to this NONSENSE, these people just stand there and purposefully take traumatic brain damage 😮‍💨🤦‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️ It’s honestly unexpected to see that MMA is the more safer contact sport. But it statistically and factually is. CTE is absolutely NO JOKE….. and that’s what makes ALL of this a COMPLETE JOKE

I love coming to the comments section on UFC powerslap vids to find elitist gatekeepers who are trying to keep "Fist fighting in a cage" a "pure" sport The irony is palpable. Imagine having a holier than thou attitude when it comes to something as prize/cage fighting lol, get off your high horse, if you ACTUALLY broke it down, MMA is the sport that is more devastating, more damaging, and more destructive on your body than 3 slaps will ever be. There is literally no angle you can argue from that makes slapping worse than a headkick, a knee to the dome, or a flat out elbow to the face. There is no comparison, MMA is way more devastating on your body. Sire, your not even on a horse anymore your on a ladder XD

Several fighters have never been knocked out. Head kick KO's are a rarity. Sure, MMA is dangerous - but I think you're completely missing the point; they are have trained in multiple disciplines to perfect multiple martial arts - they have to train cardio and understand the martial disciplines that they aren't even good at. There is so much more going on in the combat world, yet this is pushed to us - from arguably the biggest promotion in the world. The people in Slap fight are literally getting exploited, often from extremely disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds, tricked or desperate enough to do this for money. If you compete in one slap fight, you are getting knocked out, or you are knocking someone out. There have been entire UFC cards with no knockouts. I think you have just missed the entire point of the negativity toward this sport, it isn't irony; it's concern shown in the reflection of disappointment.
