@@rorycorrigan4223 DC brings too much personality, which is crazy to say, but at times it takes away from the fight. Bisping is also putting comedic stuff in there, but doesn't go in for too long.

This focus on the reaction of the commentator has to stop. The commentator is not the story. The fight is. This mugging in reactions is vanity and camera-hogging. It's contemptible. Imagine if Monday Night Football was all about Howard Cosell's reaction to each touchdown in the '70s. That would be too stupid and childish to try. But not today in the UFC. Stupid trend. The commentators milk it like children saying, "Look at me." Revolting egotism.

Felder is the most balanced commentator the UFC has. He doesn't show bias to his teammates when they fight, he doesn't goof off too much, and does a lot of research. He also doesn't get too far into the weeds on the dry technical stuff. He knows how much detail and analysis to provide and stays in his lane very well to let Anik do his job. He's not the best at any one aspect of commentary but overall he's exceptionally good everywhere. He doesn't try to hog the mic, bust balls, or has an ego about his words either. He's very professional yet also laid back and I think that's why he flies under the radar a lot.
