It's the nature of the sport. There's more money elsewhere for bigger guys so less of a pool. On top of that...there's plenty of athletic heavyweights out there competing, but as it's heavyweight...it's one mistep and you're knocked out. Potentially starting your career run again, over and over.

@ He's not that ''naturally'' gifted. If he was natty, he'd have lost to Gus, DC, Reyes, Santos, and likely a few more. He arguably still did lose to at least two of them. People vastly overrate his talent. He has good fight IQ, no question. But what else? Good proportions, sure, but shitty genetics to use them. His reach is no better proportionately than Pavlovich, for example, but he hits like a pillow which makes it almost useless. Jones without steroids would've been a solid top 3-5 fighter at 205 and 265 for all of his career. A Dustin Poirier type of career.

28:53 looking back JDS beating Cain for the belt was one of the most feel good moments in MMA one of the most beatiful one shot KOs of all time on one of the most dominant heavyweight champs ever. And he relished that moment and definitely enjoyed every bit of being the best heavyweight on the planet

Brendan Schaub retired early because he knew he would most likely destroy the likes of Ngannou and hurt them so badly they’d never be able to fight again. Very noble of him to be fair

I think that's because the guy on the receiving end of that duffee KO died after a knockout loss in boxing a couple years back. Tim Hague I believe his name was.

DC beat the real Stipe, not a half retired old man like Jones fought. And DC wasn't a ped cheat. He's just another great fighter whose legacy was destroyed by a cheat!

Finally putting Francis in 🙏🙏 it’s a disgrace how you’ve treated him just because he wanted to box and wanted health insurance for fighters. Him v Jon or him v Tom would be superfights. The real HW champ
