Bryce Mitchell is my new favorite fighter. Part of it is because he is a bad ass unorthodox fighter but 90% of it is because of his character, heart, and the way HE ACTUALLY CARES FOR OTHERS. He damn near made me cry in his post by interview. Not only is he a gardener like me, his band on politics is 100% the way I feel. That is one good ol’ boy right there I cannot wait to see how far he goes in the cage and especially out of it.

Bryce is the most down to earth dude you could ever meet. He is the exact same way when he was on TUF 27. You can’t help but like him. He’s a good ole’ southern boy. Pulling for Bryce from Alabama.

As a fellow Arkansan, I definitely love seeing Bryce on the big stage in the UFC. He's what most of the rest of the country think all Arkansans are like, but he's actually considerably more country than those of us here in Little Rock. Searcy is about an hour drive from here in the capital city, and I've passed thru there many times on my way to Jonesboro, stopping at that Waffle House every damn time. Got nothing but love for 'Thug Nasty' and how he represents this state and promotes the Hogs every chance he gets. Blue mf'ing collar to the fullest -- and that's a perfect embodiment of Arkansas character.
