For a man whose main language is not english, delivering a 1-hour long interview is Pretty impressive Ciryl takes his media seriously (unlike most brazilians who can be in the ufc for 10+ years and not learn shit plus give boring answers in their native language)

Gane is well-educated and he is actually a young guy grew up playing video games and hyping around, it's not that complicated for Europeans to learn english. Guys from brazil had a different life circonstumses in their youth and you can't blame them for anything, most of them never been in school and they had to work at early age to provide food for their families

I prefer foreign fighters to speak their native language. The limited English stifles their personality and leads to mistakes. Like Petr Yan saying the wrong rounds he thought he won in the Aljo rematch I think. I find it unfortunate how hard fighters have to promote themselves to Americans. For example One FC talking about how awesome fighting in America was in a crowd full of Thai people.

The irony here is Jon Jones turbulence outside the cage seems the complete opposite of his methological, tactical approach inside the cage. Gane's affableness & bon-homie outside the cage probably improvishes his ruthlessness in the cage o lack there of. Gane is more similar to Daniel Comier than any other heavy weight but Comier history of wrestling at high-level helped his ruthelessness in the cage. Anyways fascinating interview. If Anik wasn't so good at his craft, Gooden would be the main man.

Not like he lost to a scrub.... he lost to Jon Jones, and he can still grow his game. I love how one big loss just ruins some people's reputations. Jon is like the best ever.... it's his game to wrestle, and Gane just doesn't wrestle which is why he lost so quick. That's an area that can be a little bit worked on in terms of takedown defense, and he can be better.

No disrespect but Gane would have much more success in ONE with Muay Thai or K1 rules or Glory K1.

This kid might win this one and get another title shot yet again if he doesn't show up scared to death like he did against Jon. Don't understand why he even took that fight.

@@oscarbuglass4746 Gane already got 3 title shots, so I'm sure that the UFC is going to give it to him again because rankings and winning streaks doesn't mean anything anymore.

@@alcottdevalte7440 actually he got two, and no the next title fight will probably depend on Stipe Jones outcome whether Jon or not. Could be Aspinall Vs Pavlovich

@@oscarbuglass4746 Gane fought Lewis for the interim belt, then Francis and Jon for the main belt, which are 3 title fights. Sergei deserves the next title shot but the UFC politics gonna give it to the winner of Aspinall or Gane if he wins, because Sergei can't speak English and is Russian...
