Nobody wants to see Tom rematch the guy he beat within a round. Volkov didn't clearly beat Gane either, it was a close fight.

That will never happen. He cannot stay on the outside against such a fast and explosive opponent with crazy footwork especially over 25 minutes. It worked only against strikers-only.

Listen to the commentators, listen to how the crowd reacts, look at MMA media scoreboards, look at the reactions of fans or MMA KZbinrs. Tom’s best accomplishment outside of the UFC was winning a brown belt tournament in BJJ in the UK… Big whoop he also got his black belt from his dad but yet lost early MMA fights to guys like Stuart Austin when Stuart didn’t even have a heel hook fully locked in Tommy just tapped out… He didn’t want to be there and he wanted out so he quit flat out 🤷🏻‍♂️ Once a quitter always a quitter 😅 So his submission game is EXTREMELY overrated as his dad is clearly a terrible BJJ coach who has trained 0 world champions 🤷🏻‍♂️ And that brings me to Cyril Gane… And HOW you people think Tom wins that fight 🧐🤔 Tom is a BJJ kid not a wrestler like I just explained but you could also check the official UFC stats to see that Tom Aspinall has LESS than 5 takedowns in his entire UFC career so clearly the guy likes to stand and fight 🤷🏻‍♂️ So how does that play out with Ciryl? Ciryl is a kickboxer with good movement and range… Francis couldn’t touch Cyril on the feet and he had to wrestle… Then Cyril got mad and took Francis down and tried to submit Francis but got swept… Cyril and Tom are about equal at takedowns and takedown defense… Neither fighter has shown solid takedowns or takedown defense but all you Tom fans claim he is some Dagestani mauler but his stats don’t say the same thing considering he doesn’t take guys down 🤦🏻‍♂️ So it sounds like it will be a standup fight since they will cancel each other out on the ground so who wins the standup fight? Gane the kickboxer wins by decision because chubby Tom won’t be able to get close enough to knock him out and he also won’t be able to take Ciryl down and keep him there 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anything can happen in a fight so I’m not saying Tom can’t win but I don’t really see HOW Tom wins outside a lucky lunch early 🤷🏻‍♂️ Tom has never even seen a 3rd round in the octagon he is still very untested… The best guy Tommhas fight so far is Curt Blaydez Ciryl fought both Francis and Jon Jones so Cyril has fought better competition as well… I think Gane wins and all these fly by night Tom fans are gonna jump ship 😅 Calling it now 🤷🏻‍♂️

​@@Jln6k Sergei was literally on a 6 fight winning streak unlike Gane being on a 1 fight winning streak. Also, Sergei was the backup fighter for Jon vs Stipe, which got cancelled in 2023. Rankings and winning streaks doesn't mean anything anymore, which is the reason it's a shame that Gane got to fight Jon because he was more popular and speaks English unlike Sergei.

No sense. Gane had a close fight against Ngannou who was champion and one of the most terrifying. So Gane was ranked higher, he had beaten Tuivasa before Pavlovich beat Tuivasa, and the fight was close against Ngannou (not to mention Curtis Blaydes and Miocic were ranked higher than Pavlovich too)
