Colby sold himself out for a character. Disrespected Usman's deceased coach just a year after his death, took a shot at Matt Hughes about his accident, spoke on Masvidal's family, bragged about a supposed affair with Polyana, called Brazil a dump and Brazilians filthy animals, insulted Leon's murdered father, and so much more BS all for money. He made funds but lost almost everything of true value, including his friends and teammates. Sure it helped his career and gained him lots of shallow fans, but with one loss, look how they all turned on him and booed him out of the arena. That's what he gets for throwing respect and honor out for money and attention.

He simply can’t keep that style up any longer. It worked well enough for him for years but it’s not a good one for heading toward 36 in a lighter division. And, some people seem to have a short memory in that, while he did beat Jorge, neither of them looked good in that fight; the signs of age and slowing down were already apparent and another year and a half has done by.

I cant believe theres a lot of people who thought Colby was truly gonna wrestle Leon dominantly. Colby has decent stand up to begin with, which he can work and develop in training camp, and thats what he should focus on even though Leon is a true striker as well, its not that leon was a kickboxer like pereira, hes an mma fighter that specializes on striking he just struggles against the likes of usman.
