It was like bro forgot he was fighting for the title and was just in the moment of trying to get the win. It was such a pure, epic moment of victory that made me so happy for Moreno. And it definitely boosted my hope and joy. When perseverance succeeds, it is triumphant.

This was such a special fight. And that HAS to be the classiest post-fight sportsmanship I've EVER seen from the person who just lost their championship. Brandon had the heart, the skill, and the will to win. So did Figueiredo, but for him to not only smile for Brandon's victory, but to lift him up like he did, it gives you a glimmer of hope for humanity.

Gotta be favourite championship fight of 2021, meybe even favourite card. Figi was so humble in defeat and Moreno, heavily looked past earned the hell out of that belt. The absolute pinnacle of why MMA is such a great sport.
