The most humane aspect of DWCS is that when the Boss himself sees a fighter put their heart and soul inside that Octagon (regardless of the outcome) will get massive respect from Dana. Like the guys who ear was hanging off backstage, despite losing, just said to Dana that he wanted to be in the UFC so badly and that was enough for him to get the contract.

What a fight! That Silva vs Pacheco fight had Barrera vs Morales vibes. How cool would it be to see both these dudes progress and then meet again at some point for a future Noche UFC? Have them each climb the ranks, maybe give it a couple years. Good luck to both fighters and a hope they each have a speedy recovery. That ear was about ro fall off!

By far the best episode of the season and also the best season so far hands down. I'm so glad the ladies and angel and Danny both got contracts. They deserve it. Wish this show is on every Tuesday I love this show. Had me up on my feet the whole night. Thank you dana

You have to sign the losers. From a competitive perspective, if I’m ONE fc or PFL I would’ve signed them if the ufc didn’t, they looked durable, and extremely technical carli judice had really good movement and Angel Pacheco had really good head to body combinations, and his ability to recover from damaging shots was impressive, for Angel to get floored in the first ten seconds in the first round and than land a grimey 5 punch combinations in the last ten seconds of the first round was wild.

@@UFCShoRt5 that philosophy is applied 99 percent of the time, there are many fights in DWCS where the losers and even the winner looked really good and the ufc still didn’t sign them, however your kind of criticism does not apply to these fights, anyone who saw that fight knows those losers more than deserved a contract

yeah great point, is no different from MLB or NFL scouting, you sign the lower level dudes, pay them less, grow the brand, etc. Young Blood basically, it's a revolving door, everyone is replaceable.

One and PFL definitely are NOT concerned with who is fighting in the DWCS. There’s thousands of other prospects in their respective regions in the country.

A lot of PFL finalists and fighter including guys like Brendan Loughnane were rejected by the ufc and ended up winning the pfl Grand Prix, so that’s just factually incorrect, they are and they should be interested in fighters in the DWCS, can you imagine if a guy like JDM didn’t get a contract with the ufc, are you really gonna sit here and say the pfl and one is not interested?

Silva vs Pacheco was a great fight but 30-27 on all three cards was mad disrespectful to Pacheco. Congrats to both for getting contracts.

Valentina Shevchenko was given 5 illegal knees and they did not stop the fight, and in the Dana White Contender Series we saw only one illegal knee and the fight was over, anyway the Mexican night had an influence
