Silva/Werdum and Mousasi/Soukouju were both entertaining. Overall the event was very nice. I hear it wasn't as good as Sengoku which I've not watched yet, but it matches up well with recent UFC events which have been borderline bad.

His natural weight is probably 195-205 so weighing in at 220-230 is reasonable actually.

Shields vs. Miller was actually very comparable to GSP vs. Alves. At least Miller had some small offensive opportunities. GSP/Alves was just domination from GSP's wrestling the entire 5 rounds.

Brock is still very new to this, so cut him some slack. Credit where its due he is learning, and he is learning fast. Couple of years time he will be an amazing fighter. I wouldn't expect a Lesner Fedor fight till late 2010 or 11.

Truth is Brett was doing awesome on his strength alone. Brett's problem was his conditioning sucked. So in second round he dropped his hands from chin to chest, and started holding back. He also got psyched out by Fedor he said. Lesnar vs Fedor would be awesome fight bc Lesnar is even stronger that Brett, he has good speed like Fedor, has wrestling and is conditioned. Against Fedor's mma experience, myth, calm, Lesnar would defeat him, but Fedor could pull it out also with his calmness.

It can be. Ever heard of competition? Competition in this case would help the fighters. Rival orgs would offer more money to their fighters and in turn pressure the UFC into offering more money as well. Competition encourages the UFC to put on free UFC events 3 or 4 times a year and to show recent PPVs on TV for free.

Ariel Haiwani (dunno if I spelled that right) interviewed him recently. Might of been after Dream 12. He asked him point blank about steroid use and how everyone thinks he uses them. Looked like Overeem was about to punch him in the face. His answer was that he is just naturally big and could not lift weights when he fought at light heavyweight. Whether that is true or not, the interview was awesome. Heiwani is the best...he will ask anything.

yeah I do, see Cro Cop is(was) an explosive striker unlike COuture and Lesnar for example, so growing old is not good for that type of striker ( take a look at Liddel, wand) COuture can still fight cause he's a very methodical fighter, and pretty complete, unlike Cro who relies on his crazy striking, but now that he's not fast enough to let his hands( legs) do the talking, he's no longer competitive,Lesnar never really had his chin tested, a young cro cop would have been a tough test for his jaw

i agree with u, i love cheick kongo, hes my fav Heavyweight, but Fedor would sub him very quickly. he woouldnt even bother standing with Kongo, which honeslty could be dangerous because Kongo is in my opinion the best HW striker in the world. but fedors ground game is rediculous. he beats kongo in 3-4 minutes.

Couture is good mma fighter,and fought Lesnar smart. Mir also good.Brock is just very strong. Fedor is great,I love him, but the truth is Brock Lesnar is even a lot stronger than Brett Rogers is, and u saw how he was killing Fedor until he gassed and dropped hands to his chest intead of up by his chin. Plus Lesnar has good wrestling and great conditioning. Brock would probably defeat Fedor. Randy in his prime a few years ago would have been great fight too. Too bad we will never see that though.

Everyone pretty much says Brett Rogers was killing and won first round. He cut/broke Fedors nose, and he was a lot physically stronger and even ground and pounded the shit out of Fedor some. He got out of Fedor's submissions pretty easy with bigger strength, and held Fedor against the cage easy. He also got up pretty easy against Fedor(again stronger). I am a huge Fedor fan too. Lesnar has superior strength, fast speed like fedor, and wrestling.And he is better conditioned than Brett.

Your right i dont see why ppl think he should fight lesnar cuz hes proved nothing. Definitely shouldnt of had a title fight and will get destroyed by shane carwin. Ask the top and mid level fighters in the ufc. They can now afford to work full time in MMA. Granted, the fighters just starting out make jack shit, but thats normal in most business. U have to work your way up by skill or popularity. If the ufc ran itself like affliction or some of the others that went under, they would go under themselves and then no fighter would benefit. As the ufc becomes bigger, maybe in few years, there will be sponsors like nike,tv money etc & more money for fighters.
