like how dana walks behind the football table when the lady talks to him

You are partially correct. Most times its not technically "the fighter" that is sponsored but rather "the gym" where the fighter trains. Unless the fighter is a top 10 tier fighter most times they're wearing sponsors as a representation of their gym and their gyms sponsors. If you look at some of the training video's for some fighters you could see sponsor ads and billboards inside the gym itself.

@showbizvil They still do, but under the UFC banner. I think Xyience doesn't have that kick due to the facts it doesn't have sugar in it. But still good. I wish they bring back the Apple Jak'd flavor, too bad they replaced it with the orange flavor.

Lol I saw a sign of Batista wearing like an energy drink shirt or something. It was an advertisement for the drink. Oh and for those of you who don't know...Batista is new. He will be having his first fight soon. But it might be with Strikeforce. Hopefully, he signs with the UFC. He was a former WWE superstar. He's quit a while ago. And he's been doing MMA. His first fights gonna be soon! So look out for it!! He's 6'5 and weights 300 lbs. He's fucking huge. This guys gonna destroy everyone!

@kewinajohnson Idk where you live, but if you are in a city you could just go to a sports bar that has no age limit. You pay 5 bucks and it's a pretty awesome environment. So that could be a solution for you. Another way is to bring your friends over and have them pay you 5-10 dollars each.(you may come out with a profit). I do agree with you though on the cost is a little insane, BUT there are other ways of going about watching the UFC.

Thats a stupid comment RamUmHard805 For one, they only fight for 15min sometimes 25min.. im pretty sure they get paid fine for that amount of time, not to mention that MMA fighters get paid more off of sponsors than in any other sport. 20k for remembering to put on your affliction shirt after the fight isnt bad at all. And most fighters have 3 to 6 sponsors. Lets not also forget that he will usually throw in an extra 60k bonus for fight of the night, ko of the night, submission of the night etc.

@Slapchop21 The 2 guys fighting for the title aren't always the two best in the division. For E.G Maynard beat Edgar, Edgar beat Penn. Edgar is the champion who's already fought 2 title fights in a row. Not to mention the up and comers who are rising stars.. a gey with only 2 fights can BE the best in the division, but he still has to work his way up the ladder and prove his legitimacy. As for cost of PPV, I think they charge the minimum that the PPV company allows them to.

@JonOlavEinemo UFC also has the most sponsorships...how many pro boxing events do you watch where their trunks are littered with patches/sponsors? They make alot more than 20k bro... these sponsors pay LOADS of money..why do you think they throw their shirt on as soon as they possibly can? To get paid.. some boxers have 1 or 2 sponsors on their trunks but its rare... in the end a mid level ufc fighter makes as much as a mid level boxer...this is true

@RamUmHard808 : The real question is, are these fighters taking the fights at the pay they're getting voluntarily, or involuntarily? I'm not going to say Dana is a saint because I don't know the guy. But I know that the UFC says "here's the deal, sign on the dotted line if you want it, walk out if you don't" and rarely do fighters turn it down. Why would all these guys voluntarily fight for "chump change?" I think the sport where guys are making $50 mil a fight might be a lil more corrupt.
