I like the other side of Dana showing he's also a good family man...he get's hated on a lot but has done more for spreading MMA than anyone I can think of from a buisness standpoint. Thank you for bringing the UFC to T Dot!

that fight was always going to end with an explosive finish either way these two are both explosive fighter i mean vitor missed with a left hand when anderson overcommited earlier it was always going to be the one who could land the cleanest strike first and anderson being as good as he is made the first move.

@Daveysmith1489 I heard the same thing. IDK if its true or not but I heard mma is safer cuz in boxing a guy will get knocked down/out but get right back up only to go down again (more damage while already hurt), while in mma a ref will stop the fight if a guy is out. Also, mma fighters dont seem to tweak submissions to the point of breaking (most of the time), while boxing doesnt have subs.

Never knew anything about Dana until the end of this video with him and his family, he's a cool dude, and he tells it like it is. I gave up the boxing vs MMA crap a while ago because of what Dana said about the subject. He's a fan of both, just like I am. I hope both sports do great, and they could, if the UFC puts GSP vs Silva and boxing puts Pacquiao vs Mayweather together. Just my opinion.

Great KO by Anderson...must admit I was rooting for Vitor. Bones Vs Rua should be really interesting.
@yellowsneakers23414 жыл бұрын
Man, Kid really dissapointed me. He just looked sluggish out there. He didn't go for any takedowns and was looking for the big one punch KO the whole time. He's sooo much better than what he showed.
@Andsormida0114 жыл бұрын
@nvbaileys Belfort had an interview where he said Aderson wears a mask when the cameras are on because he acts cocky and arrogant while the cameras are rolling but is a very humble and nice guy in his personal life. He isn't himslef when the cameras are on him.

Ed Soares Translation: "Silva said to Vitor he's really looking forward to the fight and, uhm... he respects him and what he's done for the sport and he thinks it will be a good fight and that Belfort is a great fighter and inspiration and he just hopes to make a good fight for the fans cause they're the reason he's doing this putting himself on the line every fight. It will be a great fight."

Dream Fight: George 'Rush' St Pierre Vs Anderson 'The Spider' Silva that would be so badass to see still one for the imagination I suppose. Dan Hardy Vs Josh Koscheck would have the most halirious/hype build up too. Dan Hardy's Candyflosscheck nickname for Josh is too hysterical. I pray for this fight.

LOL! While Dana was placing the corsage on his daughter, his son was in the background playing with a bloodied knife (yes I know it was fake but it was still funny). Awesome blog!
@El6t6one14 жыл бұрын
@02manny it helped a lot that Silva's back was in bad shape and he seemingly couldn't sprawl like he usually does but Chael deserves a lot of credit for not being scared of Anderson. Belfort was fucking terrified in that ring same as Maia same as Leites. No more Brazilians against Anderson Silva because they know how good he is and don't want to actually fight him.

@f9hunter Yes, that's what he really said. He was saying more when Dana was pushing him away but it was inaudible given the noise from the crowd and the lack of a Microphone.

Awww the last bit at the end was cute!! A shmoopie moment!! The Anderson vs Belfort fight is either gonna be GREAT or FAIL!! It happens a lot with big fights they sometimes end up being a little disappointing hopefully none of them do! One can hope!
@BizzyD1314 жыл бұрын
@iplayse That's a very convenient excuse. The reason why Sonnen dominated Silva for five rounds is because he took the fight to Silva and out-classed him with his wrestling. Sonnen was the first person to make Silva actually fight.

@El6t6one i suppose until chael and anderson fight again we wont know for sure how much that injury effected anderson ability to stuff the takedown, but chael was the first person who closed the range ive always said u fight anderson in his face u stand off you are asking for trouble the classic way u box a long reach fighter is in his face. couture said that wasnt the plan they had told him to attack early and not allow anderson to find his range so i guess vitor didnt listen.

@Zer0nite Hard to be on a P4P list when you're 250 lbs and the list is made for smaller guys, generally. He doesn't avoid the UFC. Not at all. He loves doing MMA and K-1 and he's said for him to leave K-1, the UFC will have to pay him a lot to make up for it. He'd smash any UFC HW with no problem.

i tell you what though this fight showed me how well chael did i mean the guy shut anderson down for 4 and a half rounds and its not as if those 4 rounds were all quick takedowns they spent some time on the feet as well and chael survived maybe becouse anderson was worried about the takedown but still impressive, this fight should be a lesson to andersons opponents if you dont prerssure anderson from the first bell you are asking for trouble
