shogun and machida seem like pretty good friends if you've seen their press conferences, shogun was chatting machida up big time in the pre-fight presser, it's tight quarters here also with lots of people who know each other walking around, which leads to awkward situations always

he gave him the title shot!! and he said in almost every interview after the fight that machida has changed his life an hes better than he ever has been, and how machida wants the fight so bad and he loves it when fighters want the hard fights..i think he gave him more than enough praise..but u mighta missed those interviews from the fuel post show, and the post fight media scrum

Machida sized Shogun up at the end and was like "pfft.. How'd this bum knock me out the 2nd fight?" Shogun didn't even want to look at him because he knows Machida would destroy him at this point. Machida just got the mental edge right then and there. No point in making a 3rd fight anymore, they both know the outcome. I wouldn't want to see Shogun dismantled that badly at this point in his career.

I thought parts of EA MMA (Presentation and features) completely KILLED Undisputed.... but Undisputed had better animations... so both were good in their own ways... but how about we wait till at least a demo is produced before we all go and start the which game is better war... This is simillar to the Acclaim/THQ WWF war.... THQ won that and went on to make some amazing games for the franchise... I expect EA to do the same for UFC

Thats cuz in the e3 convention, ufc announced that they will be working with ea to develop new ufc games.

I was also confused why they chose Vera over Gustaffson for this fight. It's probably because Gustaffson wasn't mentally ready to face someone like Rua and Vera stepped up to the plate. That would have been such a bad ass fight though.
