This is how the top fighters in the UFC get paid. They get a set amount, for example GSP would make 250,000 per fight. The big money comes from the pay preview . If the UFC sells over 300,000 paid previews GSP would make 2 dollars per share. For example if they sell 2 million , GSP would make 4 million. A few other fights would get 1 dollar per share . The UFC gets a about 40 dollars per share or 80 million dollars. that doesn't include advertising revenue. The UFC makes about 150 million dollars for every pay preview.

When you beat the champion, you aren't actually the champion even though you have the belt. You have to beat the "champion" for a 2nd or 3rd time to be truly truly called the NEW Champ. It's great decisionmaking for the UFC and for the fighters as well. Absolutely genius. You don't need to hype up anything. You just immediately have the rematch as soon as possible. Many foreigners do not know that this is actually offensive to most local people in Hong Kong as Hong Kongers/Hongkees dislikes the mainland Chinese very much due to different values and behaviours. If i really have to say, Hong Kong is a very racist place towards the mainland Chinese and you can see that in protests and newspapers everyday. True Hong Kong people always call themselves Hong Kongnese or Hong Kong Chinese but will never call themselves Chinese. There is a different government system and a border between these two places. We always call Hong Kong; Hong Kong and China; China despite that HK is geographically part of China and they have the power to overide all decisions of the HK governement if need be (There will be blood though). This can be confusing but I would like you to know more about Hong Kong with this information. A probable exmaple is you going to Hawaii and say "Wha'ts up America?". Although make sense but awkward. By the way the above comments applies to Macao too. Thank you
