I live in Texas, so we didn't have hockey in school or anything, but there was a junior hockey team in the area a few guys in my school played for. Those few were some of the toughest, best athlete's in the school. Hockey is no joke.

They do body shots alot but it'd be nice to see him teach some new techniques. Superman punches have been a thing but I wanna see more advancement haha

Body shot is definitely used in hockey fights but I think it’s under-utilized and I’m glad DC brought that up. It’s hard to get clean punches off sometimes depending on where the other guys arm is in a hockey fight. You usually have a perfect shot to punch the side of the body where there’s no padding, can catch people by surprise and even if you don’t that shit hurts a whole hell of a lot more than a punch to the helmet or a weak/blocked punch (which is most punches in a hockey fight). Hitting someone with body shots is the easiest way to hurt them and thus open them up for a shot up top if they’ve been holding their arm stiff against you to stop all your punching power.

@@Brandon34300 fighters wear pads there , But I get ya . There's alot of people that don't usually fight are fighting now so I'd imagine body shots would work good but you get left exposed alot doing it .

I wouldn't describe that performance in the coaches challenge as "not good". There are other words for that lol. Best part of the series by far. I can't recall where an athletic person was more like a fish out of water in a sport in my life.

Hockey is arguably the most difficult sport in the world. It's faster paced than other sports. You have to control a frozen disc of galvanized rubber with a stick (not your hands) that has a curved blade, dodge absolute animals who are trying to take your head off (hits are proven to be harder than in football), all while balancing on what are essentially knife blades. I admire anyone willing to step out of their comfort zone and try hockey even once.

I’ll give Daniel Comier free skating lessons any day he wants all day until he’s FLYING around the ice. I’m in SD. He’s an athlete and could be skating in no time then fighting and shooting!
