Covering up is never a good strategy, especially after you get rocked. The refs see it as submitting.

It should be tho, sometimes fighter are being overaggressive to get the finish and completely tire his arm by punching the guards over and over, I don't see why ref have to stop the fight when the guard is still up

Not one shot landed to the face neck or head on the floor. Kennedy was blocking the shots. Idk if people outside the ring were shouting to stop the fight which pressured the ref to stop it and can’t make his own fucking decision. How I wish Dan Miragliotta was reffing this fight

Hopefully he can start another win streak. He looked so off against Murzakonov and even looked a bit timid against Roundtree but Nzechukwu is no slouch this is a great win for Jacoby.

Defo an early stoppage, kennedy was biding his time but the ref never gave him a chance, all the punches was being blocked on the floor, if a fighter is on the floor and a guy is over them they cannot aleays rract straight away because then they may get knocked out for being to quick to get up. Ref should have let it go on, he was not taking any damage on the floor really.

I'd say Dan Mirgliatta last week let the Lima v Lewis fight go on for the perfect amount of time. Lima covered up, changed position, covered up a bit more, let time go on a tiny bit then called it.
