@@Sky-7a7 This isn't boxing where every division has 4 major titles (WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO) plus IBO and The Ring Magazine. Then about 117 titles no one cares about. He's right. Dana was never a Poirier guy, never really wanted him to be the main attraction. The reason why Dustin Poirier resonates with so many people is because he's a world class human being and a fighter's fighter. He's not the trash talking kind, but to be honest, not every fan needs foul-mouthed competitiors to sell a fight to them. To me Dustin is the guy that I could always listen to, look up to, and know he's going out there to kill it. Massive respect

Poor Poirier. Hes on my short list of all time favorites. Best fighter to never win a belt. But I'm glad hes retiring. He didn't look himself in there. I've been watching him fight for a looooonnnggggg time and this is the first time he's looked kinda old. All those wars caught up to him. Whatever is next for him, I will always be a fan. Thanks for everything Dustin!

"Great Fighter" would be far back when listing accolades when talking about Dustin Poirier behind "great: person, leader, father, husband..." That says alot about who he is as a man. Thank you, Dustin. You represented Louisiana with honor and pride. 💎 are forever...
