Edson is 3-6 in his last 9 fights; However, his competitive schedule in those last 9 fights has been incredibly tough. So, it says a lot that he's still around, fighting on PPV main cards and headlining Fight Nights. At just at 36, he may still have one last run in him but it'll depend on if he can beat Mitchell. To me, if he loses Saturday night, his chances of ever making a run at 145 or 155 might be over and he may become one of those Cerrone/Green/Lawler/Miller/Matt Brown fighters where rankings and competition no longer matters. Just give him exciting matchups, let him get his money, and move onto the next.

I remember seeing this guy fight against Anthony Njokuani more than 10 years ago! (man time flies). Haven't missed a fight since.. he is a fun fighter to watch.

This is the only fight that disturbs me. I know there isn’t really a news video on terry etim. 4 years after his last fight, terry etim jumped in front of 4 separate moving cars. 3 of them were busses. Witnesses described it as a horror scene. He survived, but as harsh as it sounds, I can’t help but to say that knockout changed his brain. It’s not Edson’s fault and he is in no way a culprit. But it lowkey hurt my heart to hear that happened to terry because he retired a year later. The velocity of that heel to the chin… the instant stiffness. That was maybe the most brutal knockout I have seen.

when you do amazing things in life , you can look back and know that those times are past , but you than realize even the shitty annoying things in life are actually good and a blessing, that is when you know you are winning at life, loved that edson can even enjoy his weight cuts now , cause when its all over, we will remember everything in the past with loving memory ... best approach to life , good luck edson , been a hoot watching you fight
