Alex Pereira is such a patient hunter, he is so compassionate and humane. Unlike other fighters, once he knocks you down, he doesn't immediately go for the kill, he steps back a bit and gives you time to stand up or recollect yourself or gives the ref an opportunity to just end the match, if the match isn't ended, that's when he strikes again with one or two blows. I think that's so considerate and respectful to his opponent. He is a good human, he is not there to hurt the opponent or give him brain damage. And for that I respect him a lot. Much love from Nairobi, Kenya. Can't wait for Saturday. Chamaaaa

For Rountree, which this has happened to many others, he stood in there, wouldn't go away, took an inhuman beating, which we have to celebrate just how tough he is. But the problem with this for him and others is, once they take this sort of beating, they are never the same. His next time out, he will be a completely different fighter, a mostly broken one. It's not a 'for sure' he will be this way, but the odds are against him for sure.

I honestly wish it was more acceptable in mma to stop the fight or the corner to throw in the towel.
