It's so refreshing seeing fighters just be factual and logical about their opponents. Trash talk can be funny and entertaining but hearing it constantly gets kinda old. All the respect to these 2 gentlemen.

Exactly. I myself don't like trash talk. Yes I understand, because of all of the fans that love drama, the type of people that are entertained by WWE, certain fighters like Conor McGregor use trash talk to sell fights, and it works. I personaly would rather see two fighters respecting each other before and after the fight. This is one of the reasons that Fedor Emelianenko is my favorite fighter. He is one of the most humble, stoic, respectful fighters of all time. If any of you are new to mma, look up Pride fighting championship- Fedor. And as for me not being a fan of trash talk, maybe it's just because I'm an old man of 50 years. 😆

This is the dumbest thing I heard. This isn’t isn’t a science debate. You don’t need facts nor logic because it doesn’t matter what they say, all that matters is the result. The reason they ended this after 6 minutes was because it was so boring and the reason they did it was bc chito was talking shit about cruz all week but didn’t sell it here. Holy crap! Dominick laid out all of Chito's good fighting qualities in a seemingly complimentary way but with a tone saying I see all you have clearly. Then repeated Chito's ending statement verbatim and ended it with "It's a good day to die." With a psychopathic gleam in his eye.

Dom's said really questionable things, particularly the issue between him and DC, which, it would seem most agreed-- was way uncalled for and resulted in a great deal of community backlash as we all saw. And maybe he's trying to repair his image, maybe his propensity to be a jerk to those he has an issue with has its limits and he's as human as we want to believe he is. Who knows but he. Whichever the case is not my business. My business is whether or not I'm entertained. And I'm entertained. May nobody get seriously injured, may both their families find happiness and prosperity. And may the best man win.

He's always been like that, he only talks back when people start the crap talking. Seems to me more like some dudes can't handle logic being thrown at them from a little dude, and I'm a LHW. I've noticed 200 pounders and up do not like listening to little guys, because of ego. People talk about small man syndrome but it's almost always the really big dudes with an ego problem. Dom has always been soft spoken and calm until someone says something that's not true or starts trash talking him. Seems like the exact same guy he's always been some people just can't handle the truth and would rather have their balls coddled so their fee fees never get hurt. Y'all just wanna go with the flow and Dom's way too masculine for the average femboy these days.

This was an amazing piece. Two deadly serious warriors talking normally knowing they are about to enter the octagon to go to war. It’s a weird energy. Two killers who know the exact time and day they are about to engage in physical warfare. It’s like the nervous energy we all felt when we knew we had to fight at a location after school. I know Cruz can say some silly stuff on the commentary mic from time to time, i.e. "Conor is letting himself get punched to tire Khabib out". But he always reminds me he's one of the best pre-fight talkers in the business. I will be darned if "The fans are lucky, it's good day to die" isn't one of THE coldest lines in UFC history.

That opening.... wow.... As someone who was (and of course still am) a SUPER fan of Dom from back when I saw his footwork in the WEC (especially that Jorgeson Fight), this gave me chills. Because they are a perfect match, have deep respect for another abilities, and even us fight fans have no clue what is going to happen... and neither do they. They just go in and put on a show with THEIR skill set, not adjusted for their opponent. THEY both fight to make the other break their routine. THIS IS GOING TO BE INSANNNNNEEEEEE!!!!!

To me if you need to be an a-hole to try & get in someone's head you've already shown your weak of mind and/or worried about the fight. This is not street fighting, your both professionals so act like it. That's one of the reasons I love Wonderboy Thompson because he'll KO you with a head kick & still be nice & casual about it lol.

Chito has improved soooo much coming off TUF. He has essentially mirrored the style of a primer Strikeforce Nick Diaz accept that Chito doesn’t cut up as easily and he is more athletic. But the high guard and the pitter patter shots until he has cornered and/or fatigued his opposition and then he sits down on the strikes.
