Cro Cop is around the same height as Rashad Evans and knocked out a 6’6 sumo wrestler in less than a minute. Then again, Cro Cop is a natural heavyweight while Rashad is a natural middleweight/light heavyweight.

If you analyze that moment Chuck had an opportunity to hit Evans with a straight right but switched to an uppercut, a slower shot. I wonder if it would have made a difference.

The old fans who look down on the new fans are the worst kind of fans. Grow up dude
@denisenoles31598 жыл бұрын
+bol317 I understand both sides. There are those who are not really fans but jumped on the McGregor bandwagon & that is all they know & all they are willing to learn & that can be annoying. On the other end, many of the hardcore fans who have been watching for years try to put down the new fans who are really trying to learn about the sport & that is annoying too. Because of youtube, people are able to go back & look at those old fights & gain more perspective. That is good for the sport.

The timing from Rashad on Liddel was amazing. He had a fraction of a second to get it right, otherwise he'd be KO'ed himself. Saw the opening and used Liddel's forward movement to maximise the power. High power and instant KO. Elite striking.

@MrTwat1448 жыл бұрын
+Antonio Machado Yep. Too many fighters pulling out from ' injuries ' when really its to do with testing. Only the top tier fighters can get away with it because they have the right people on their team. This sport is all about juicing. It means fighters can go 5 rounds at 120mph.
@Eziokilla95958 жыл бұрын
+WHERES MY REMATCH BUDDY Honestly, the part of the whole steroids conversation that people are ignoring is the safety issue. These people are punishing their bodies both with training, high intensity output, and receiving damage from other fighters. Being in the cage is different from being in the gym. In the gym, you can work on form, take breaks, go back and work things again if they don't feel right. In the cage, you can't assume that every punch or kick is thrown with perfect form. The point is, using drugs in this sport is actually safer for the fighters than not.

I am quite new to ufc, and I wonder how theese matches work like for example ufc 196?? why 196?? something with the weight class?? and how does the matches work, for example how can someone get a championship fight. And if the champ looses a fight, does he loose the belt, or does it have to be a championship fight.. And when does theese fights hold place.. every week? Different divisions?? I would love if someone would give me an answer. I would appriciete you so much, tnx.. Have a good rest of your day ;)
@ViralTrys8 жыл бұрын
196 is the 196th instalment of a ppv ufc event. Every fight a champion has in his or her division is for the belt, and they can lose it. There is a ppv event every month but usually every week or other week a fox sports card or ufc on fox card is held.
@Kozakrami028 жыл бұрын
+ViralTrys fox sports shows all of the fights?
@ViralTrys8 жыл бұрын
+Kozakrami02 fox events are for events that carry less meaning or the inability to sell ppv buys, for numbered events, you have to pay.

@stephencarlsbad8 жыл бұрын

@mxbblife_mu7 жыл бұрын
Andrew Ortiz Fools like you really trip me out. Going to the ground is NOT fighting scared. Rashad is a Wrestler, that's his strength..Even though Rashad proved to be a powerful striker, striking is not his strength.

With all honesty Rashad Evans should of never dropped weight. He lost all the power that he had naturally in his frame. At heavyweight he would have been a handful given his hand speed in the division, the only thing he would have to watch for is takedowns.

Chael never had a chance....styles really do make fights and Chael knew he cant bang with a big black wrestler who has hands. Bones and Rashad both made easy work of him. Chael is no scrub though...he beat Bisping and Bisping beat Silva in a stand up war. Never doubt that styles make fights....Bruce Lee taught this and the importance of wrestling many many years before mma. I use to read it and wonder why Bruce said something so silly....wrestling was WWF to me but now I see....Bones and Chael almost beating Silva showed me.
@stephencarlsbad8 жыл бұрын
+QuabmasM Not so. Chaels hand speed had rashaad confused and overwhelmed at one part of the fight. Rashaad admitted it too. Chael had a shot probably 3 years earlier.
