The thing people don't realise is, Dustin's been fighting at 155 for years and his resume of fight speaks volume about what he's experienced. Meaning he's dealt with the pace and strength of khabib, power of Justin, volume of Max, tenacity of Eddie, creativity of Pettis etc. He's used to taking shots of bigger guys and Conor can't faze him like he did at 145.

Conor was definitely working on him, and he could have absolutely "fazed" Dustin. Don't forget that a fight can often swing one way or the other in a matter of seconds (e.g. The last 15 seconds) Dustin did well, especially sticking him with those calf kicks, but you can't say he was actually showing real dominance.

Dude, dustin can really defeat mcgregor in many ways. Dustin has a better grappling skills than conor plus he could submit him anytime as well as take him down anytime. Dude had evolved into a beast way before he fought khabib. But of course, khabib's beast mode level is way up higher though. Just sayin'!

@@leftalone1623 he's fine. He won't be in the top of the division for much longer though. A few more fights and he'll either retire for good or get beat by younger hungrier lions.

@Milind Kunwar very true, that's the difference between long term champs and short term. People like Jon Jones and Khabib constantly evolve and learn new techniques and ditch anything that isn't working for them and that's why they stay on top. I feel like conor has always relied to much on his boxing, this is evident in the fact he has never really worked on his ground game or ju jitsu. I will give him props for the Diaz 2 fight he worked to improve his cardio and in that case the outcome was different. I just think he ironically is 'stuck in the mud' and hasn't demonstrated any new skills or a will to change things up over the latter part of his career.
