Conor does provoke a lot but people forget that often he's just retaliating but so intensely that it feels like he "started" it. For example at the Go Big conference, before he went on the famous "red panty night" Dos Anjos first called him "easy money". Diaz called him a motherfucker that took everything he worked for. Aldo was calling him "the joker", Denis Siver said he shouldn't be top 10, etc... Then if you look at Holloway he said Conor deserved the attention and respect he got and he doesn't lash on him. Edgar also admitted Conor was the money fight and then Conor never said anything too bad about him either. I mean he often makes general statements about how he's on another level than everyone and wild statements to promote etc. but usually he actually only goes on to verbally rape people after they provoked him themselves.
