Welterweight Jack Della Maddalena put on a show in the Octagon as he secured a three-round victory over Ange Loosa via unanimous decision on Season 5 of Dana White's Contender Series, earning him a UFC contract. Maddalena makes his UFC debut at UFC 270 where he faces Pete Rodriguez on Saturday.

@@pokemonovice9758 if everyone was saying "this guy puts on exciting fights and I'm really excited to see more of them" I wouldn't say anything, but the idea that he's making it anywhere near the top 15 is hilarious unless the UFC gives him a huge layup. Ponzi is ranked 14 and he's looking a little shop worn but he's the only person ranked in his division that he has any chance of beating and that's a big if.

Outstanding performance by Jack Della! He’s definitely got the potential to be a top contender in the future. Ange Loosa is as tough as nails though. Took all those heavy, potential KO shots and still fought through it like a warrior. Kind of disrespectful his name isn’t in the title… Ange needs to work on his stand up game and grappling if he wants to succeed. Nevertheless, Great fight and best of luck to both of em!

Most perfect way to end the fight for jdm get up and put a stamp on the fight. Annoying commentary from Laura sanko saying ange loose was landing a lot in the third round but it really was maddalena rolling with almost every punch

I just seen the first match ever of him today for UFC 270 and at the start when he Said “No” and rejected the glove touch n the look on his before the match started, as well as alittle after the match started I thought hey he reminds me of Nate diaz for some reason lol. I googled it afterwards to see who else sees that comparison n i find others also seen it during his contender series days as well as his coaches calling him the Australian Nate diaz too 😂 So funny the comparisons we see

After seeing Loosa running away from the loss against Brian Battle I have no doubt he was milking the hell out of that shot here, He's more suited for soccer. Dude is clearly on roids as well.
