i really enjoyed this fight! Velasco can take a beating and still come back swinging with a bounce to her step! Mueller has explosive power and hits her mark! fun to watch.

Lol at the misogynists and the poor logic. The question wasn't why she wasn't KOed - it was why she wasn't cut or bruised. And since it really doesn't take much power to get cut or bruised. (You can bruised walking into a door). So all the talk about female fighters was irrelevant. Anyway, the answer is - who knows. Velasco wears damage really well, like an Ortega I guess.

their sympathetic nervous system is engaged, and their reflexes are in full swing. If your eyes ain't like that in a fight, it just means you're not engaged fully and taking it seriously, which probably ain't gonna work out for you. Being that you also knew who was more likely to win from the friggin title, it's hard to take you serious here with this 'Bambi's mom facial expression' theory

The difference is, when Mueller would get hit she would eat it and keep it pushing. When Velasco got hit, she immediately retreated and couldn't handle the onslaught. Showed toughness tho. Velasco definitely showed more heat as the fight went on.

Velasco is backing alway all the time. That's what's getting her in the corner. Even if she comes in for a few strikes, she strongly backs away quickly afterwards. Her skills are ok, her stamina excellent, but she really needs to up her psychology.

Velasco lost her last two fights to Aspen Ladd (up and comer in UFC) and Mueller. Since this fight, she hasn't fought. Is she retired since 2017? She was 22 at this fight.

Almost seemed like Mueller was in too low of a weight class. Either way it was a good fight, Mueller got a ton of hits, I think the scoring was fair. Crazy how Velasco survived that long with taking all those hits lol she should have gotten points for that 😂

That spinning back fist wasn't flush it was more on the mouth and lips area. If it was deeper in on the jaw to ear area it probably would have dropped her. Placement is key.

VALASCO has landing reach talent. Needs to be used 5 times more in a three round fight. She has the talent to deliver KO’s with her reach, target to the head. Did not like the hitting behind the head by Mueller. Should have had a deduction in points.
