Burns is the man. How can anyone not like this guy. Masvidal brings the excitement but the way Burns fought and almost beat Khamzat, I don't see Masvidal winning this.

I love Gilbert. He is so honest. One of my lows of Gilbert was when he fought Usman. I had to be very sentimental to support my brother even when Gilbert was saying alot of truth. Nevertheless Gilbert will always be my favorite fighter

Props to the casuals for not knowing that Masvidal is one of the smaller welterweights and actually gets underweight during camp and for those not knowing that sometimes the strategy to an opponent is to go in heavier and dehydrate more so you are heavier in the octagon and pose more problems to a grappler or to keep some mass for striking.

After watching what Burns did to Chimaev, it's ridiculous for anyone to believe that Masvidal has a chance at all. And then Burns lifts his shirt while sitting in a relaxed position and the 8 pack is rippin to show Burns is in even better than he was against Chimaev. All I can say is Adios Masvidal.

One thing that Gilbert Burns has improved on is his interview skills. It’s apparent that he knows how important it is to entertain fans outside of the octagon. I am impressed with how he has carried himself on the lead up to the fight.

As a Brazilian I Am so proud of Gilbert. The only Brazilian fighter who assimilate the American coulture properly. He understood how business works, speaks the local linguage... That is what a very good immigrant does, give the respect the country that is welcoming you deserves.
