Yea except there is a person in charge of when they start and stop fighting. And that person is the ref… so if the ref ends the fight, who is deciding to reverse that decision and continue anyway? Are there multiple refs for each fight? Is there a panel of people who get together and talk and decide if it was a bad stoppage and if it should be continued? Giving time to both fighters to recover? It just sounds more confusing than having one person in charge of the fight.
@madatu3 ай бұрын
Does the ref have a Boss? Because McDonald should be fired.
@thelocust6193 ай бұрын
That eliminates fairness. In any given position, someone has the advantage and resetting unfairly costs them that. Any damage dealt they could have capitalized on, gets recovered in that time wasted. Any momentum built, gone. Any victory is overshadowed by the objective fact there was outside interference. But I would agree if it's clear both fighters are fine n they're just standing then yea, just let it go. But if someone was I'm a mount, or if a guy was dazed n holding on...then giving them time to get their energy back ruins the match. If you just put them back, the guy on tops advantage just doubled cuz he's not tired anymore, n the guy who dazed his opponent just lost that opportunity he earned. Only real fair way is to just move the call to no contest and reschedule.

The guy was clearly stunned, it was just a matter of time. Yes the fight should have continued but I think the ref just saved some neurons in Cutelaba brain.. Their second fight proved it

@@emericl.1375 when was he stunned? He never got hit? You UFC fanboys know nothing about combat sports… he was completely conscious the entire time. He literally blocked every shot. Did you miss both replays and the breakdowns? Time for refs to expand their knowledge and experience and learn from the boxing and kickboxing refs. You literally just watched a video that had way more bad calls than good calls.

Steve mazagatti right on top of the action… As a fighter takes like 30 plus unanswered shots before the shots that disqualifies were even in play yet

Credits to Ben Askren, he's really good on blocking shots with his face.

The ankalaev one should have been a no contest

Nah man, Ankalaev was beating the brakes off of him. That would not be fair. They should have just started the round where they left off lol
@rishabhgaur1373 ай бұрын
@CursedPerception Only one strike connected bro and who have you seen that wobbles like that for so long and then gets super energetic after the fight is stopped he was probably just trying to play dead so he could then take advantage of ankalaev's offence

Yo the way Jones was beatin on Hamill you would’ve thought Jones was an escaped slave & sought revenge on his master Hamill 😂

Jones only loss and his opponent is beaten and bloodied on the floor, unable to continue. Thats pretty fucking cool.

it's not that cool because he won robberies like against dominick reyes and gustaffson

Dont forget the dude was deaf and was being asked if he was good with blood in his eyes 😂 dumb rule, lame outcome from bones destroying him.

@birdmananyweather1681 in a way, it's better than being 28-0 undefeated. When people look up the loss, they will still see dominance lol

@@LelandAndroid its just fuel for jon haters, they wont go look at the devistation he leaves when he fights. Plus they changed the rules and i heard somewhere that if that rule is changed that it will reflect on his record, but i just heard it, no clue if its true

to go from that 90's fight, no gloves, no rules, no weight classes to peter yan and sterling dq is a microcosm of what our society has become.
