It is annoying seeing these comments about how he “lost to the flu” he likely has a chronic issue and is trying his best to deal with it. I love that Chimaev has consistently mentioned money in all of his interviews. His mind is very clear that this is about making money and it looks like he is not hyper invested in having the identity of being the best or being undefeated or being a champion or whatever. This is just a gig for money, as is the case for any of us doing a job, and should not overshadow everything else in life.

whoever wins between whitaker and khamzat should 100% be next in line for a title shot what has sean strickland done to deserve not only one but now a second title shot when he never done anything to deserve the first one. They have been way to many title fights lately that have been made because of the storyline and not because its the best vs the next best like it should be. I get that they needed somebody to step in to fight izzy and strickland made the most of it but when he loses the first title defense to ddp then one win against costa puts him back in line for another title shot when you have guys like rob and khamzat that are both on winning streaks and fighting each other how does strickland deserve the next shot more than the winner of this fight it just dont make any sense
