So we’re gonna ignore how they cut out Islam calling out a stop to the war? One of the best parts he said was that today was no celebration because of what’s going on in the world. That’s why he put his finger to his lips to quiet down the celebration in the arena. Disappointing to not see that in the official video.

I love their mentality. Work hard in gym and training so that fights are easy. Volk was saying “Using hydration as an excuse.” It’s not an excuse when you win. It’s the reasoning for a close fight. This fight showed what this man really can do. Great fight Islam.

The UFC in general is pretty hard-core right-wing/pro-Trump. You can do the whole USA/Nationalism/Facism thing (Sean Strickland, Colby Covington, Rose Namajunas, Bryce "hee-haw" Mitchell).. I love how much respect Islam has for Volk and vice-versa. A breath of fresh air, just two legends testing their skills. As a Khabib team fan, the only other fighters I always root for is Alex and Justin. Pure warriors, I cannot wait for Alex to come back and evolve. In the west bank there is no hamas, yet israel is expanding it's illegal settlements and kicking Palestinians out of their homes every day. The first thing Islam Makhachev said was Alhamdulilah (praise and thanks to God), and the second thing he said is HIS DUAS (prayers) ARE WITH THOSE IN PALESTINE because that was more important to him than his win and that was his response which was EDITED OUT BY THE UFC when DC asked the first question. How many times does the UFC do this, probably never, they did it this time when there is a clear genocide taking place by Israel. As the description says "Makhachev silenced all the doubters", more like the UFC tried to silence Islam Makhachev.
