In the first two fights there were tons of exchanges in the pocket. The sequence where Alex knocked him out was insane pressure and Izzy retreated straight back instead of angling off. I think Izzy takes this one and finishes Alex.

Izzy is genuinely a really nice guy , I remember he was doing a meet and greet signing autographs and taking pictures after UFC 263 , just before I was about to get my picture taken with him , a baby started crying in the queue , Adesanya clocked this and Asked the Mother with the problem , He gently grabbed the baby sat down on his seat with the baby on his knee , he pulled up his shirt and breastfed the baby there and then , true hero , if that doesn’t speak to someone’s personality then I don’t what will.

Authentic Izzy without the prepared corny lines, as if to suggest he's some godly being.. is typically what puts people off him. He tends to do this at big press conferences. In 1 to 1 interviews he's often far more insightful and less prepared. I'm an example of someone who rationally sways between like and dislike ... however, there is a common "fan" who it could be argued, dislike confident "cocky" fighters who don't look like them. It will always be denied.. because to admit it, is admitting they are scummy people, but tribalism is real.

Gonna be honest, I was getting a bit fed up of Adesanya’s antics to sell his fights and be the centre of the show. But I feel like we’ve seen his real character shine through with this fight, with real pressure on him (for the first time in a while). He’s been super likeable and very open.

Personality wise my fav fighter is paddy, but this is my favorite when it comes to fighting and being 100% real. Although izzy is a close #2 in the personality though. Sean omalley is my #2 fav fighter but paddy is #3 for sure. UFC is getting real and I love it! Might have to hit a bar this weekend.

Alex is in a weird position. He definitely got fast tracked to this situation, and it’s definitely too early in his MMA experience to face someone like Israel. It’s weird to think of where he goes from here if he loses. Feels like it would be weird to see him fight down cus I don’t know if he would make it back up if he faces dudes with strong wrestling like Brunson or Vettori. Jared Cannonier would be a fire fight though.

Usman was boring point decision wrestler in his rise but became exciting and earned respect with finishes as champion. Izzy on other hand became Boring and lost respect after becoming champ scammin all fans who believe he was worth the ppv buy. Khabib is a grappler and dominates and finished his last opponents in a more stacked division. Your comparison are literal coping mechanism based on not wanting to just accept the fact the he became complacent and scared and just want the paycheck. Tbh i haven't hear much bragging from Alex side, he just stated he won twice, once by KO, first he barely won but still W on record. Nothing to be ashamed, just facts. But i feel like Izzy while asked about the same had to explain himself much more, he is well spoken but i feel it;'s more personal than he addmits. More like media blew this whole situation a lot because of the kickboxing past. I still have Izzy as a winner but like 60-40. I think Alex’s mummy style with little to no defensive head movement is going to be his downfall in this one. Izzy is going to be punching in bunches much like in the first two fights but with much more sting with the tiny gloves. Can’t wait to see how It plays out!
