I know most people won't mention it, since it's not as big of a moment, but my GOD was Poirier vs Hooker such a brutal fight, I swear Dan might've been the closest fighter to getting killed in the octagon by sheer volume of damage. Him wheezing in the back of the ambulance after is still the best example of, 'So you wanna be a fighter' ever imo.

To this day the Poirier Hooker fight is one of my absolute favorites and easily the best Apex moment. Both went in there and gave us an absolute car crash of a fight and being able to hear every single shot, every bit of labored breathing and the aftermath was just insane. I know so many have hated the Apex era but I've got such a soft spot for it purely because of that fight. Huge Hooker fan and sucked to see him lose, but holy shit am I grateful for such a beautiful war
