Back to the drawing board for Pyfer. All that talk about hitting harder than Ngannou I sure couldn't tell. Jack spent the first 2 rounds eatin all kinda shots, then he put on a clinic. You spend 2 rounds eatin shots like that from Francis you gon need a clinic.

Well Pyfer does end many fights within those 1.5 of rounds, Edman Shabazyan was the same once he got past the first round, became tired very quickly. I'd say Pyfer did well tbh but the calf kicks and mentally started to fatigue.

@@xftbllplyr2091 stipe landed the harder and better shots as well in that fight that’s why everyone was so impressed when ngannou won the rematch, he got badly schooled the first time which is testament to how good both guys are. Two of the best heavyweight champs in ufc history are 1-1

I'm more of a fan of Jack because he seems to have less of an arrogant attitude but I do think that experience won this fight instead of a skill set. To me, it seemed like Joe was in his head the longer the fight went on, and that posed more of a threat than anything else because every time he got out of his own head and opened up, he was very successful. Experience thing. Nonetheless, he choked, and the better man won.

“Be like Joe Pyfer” they say….pshhh nah be like Jack Hermannson. I like Joe a lot and this loss doesn’t mean he isn’t a beast. But Jack is still at his peak albeit nearing the end and is just starting to acquire some “old man strength”. Jack won’t be a top 3 contender in the division at this point in his career but he sure as hell won’t let the younger hype overtake him.

Respect to Pyfer, he dared to test himself against a top 15 opponent; but he got completely exposed. Despite what the commentators were saying, he had 0 feints and his combinations were limited to 2-3 shots due to him overthrowing - meaning he was throwing everything naked. Jack showed that he and Pyfer are on different levels.
