Kamaru didn't get the respect he deserved until after he lost the belt. He's the 2nd best Welterweight of all time and had one of the most dominant title reigns this decade.

Wins against Sean Strickland, Leon Edwards, Colby x2, RDA, Maia, Woodley, Burns and Masvidal x2 5 title defenses. He was so active as a champ even as a Contender he just fought against Chimaev Unlike Edwards that fights once a year and Colby as well, I bet that the winner will fight again until December 2024

Leon Edwards gonna fight in a month so that make it twice a year just like Usman. Except for the injury period Leon has been pretty active. As the matter of fact, Leon has 25 fights (16 in the UFC) and Usman has 24 fights (17 in UFC) so they pretty much the same. Leon is not as active on the social media and that why the fans think he inactive.

Kamaru Usman truly is one of the all time greats, not only as a Welterweight but also all time UFC champions💯 So dominant, his wrestling was always his strong suit yet he improved so much with his striking, his KO of Jorge Masvidal was iconic 👏👏👏👏 his Welterweight championship reign was so memorable, amazing title defenses against Colby Covington, Jorge Masvidal, Gilbert Burns.

Usman got titleshot very late if he got it earlier he would have more defenses one of the reasons guys like GSP, Jones and Silva have so so many title defenses is because they got it very fast, they didn't have to go on a 10 fight win-streak in the UFC to get a titleshot

Being in Jacksonville when Kamaru slept Masvidal was electric! Whole crowd quiet except me and the 2 other Kamaru fans in the Vystar. He is my favorite fighter of all time.

I hope Kamaru watches these fight highlights, if only to remind himself that his greatest weapon, above all else, is his mindset. Noring fights, more active than almost any champion ever, gave us 2 classics vs Colby, a crazy Knockout vs Masvidal, TKO to Burns. He was fighting so much I was shocked to hear Ultimate fighter 2015 holy shit. Only 1 lucky headkick 1 min before the end ended Usman, crazy

Usman has a 15 fight win streak breaking Gsp's record for consecutive wins. Gsp has 13. Not taking anything away from Gsp but some people get to the title quicker.

@@predition7714metrics don't mean 💩 it's about objectivity, Usmans resume and level of competition far superior to theirs, the sports moved on leaps and bounds gsp arguably lost to hendricks and lost to sera, Usman has wins over Strickland who's now middleweight champ so meanx nothing it's all timing he picked Bisping, he never fought Woodley when he was in his prime he never beat a whittaker or romero at middleweight he carefully picked bisping cos he thought it was easier matchup stylistically from their sparring plus Bisping was injured, that's not the mentality of a goat, he was scared to fight never took risk, he would face khamzat on 2 week notice, and his style was boring af nobody even remembers this

@@predition7714 anybody can pick specific stats to make someone sound better than they are, he got a title shots on his 5th ufc fight, then he got ko'd by Serra, he mostly just layed on ppl and went to decisions, he should of lost the fight to hendricks but he wasn't as popular, Usman would of smoked all they guys gsp faced and he wasn't losing to Serra and he'd of dominated Hendricks, even Colby and Burns would of smoked most of gsps opponents
