Khabib looked so raw in this fight - it’s incredible how much he evolved into a completely different fighter by the end of his career.

He looked like that because it was his first fight. He already had the skills to win and prior experience, but the lack of confidence that comes with a debut fight is always accompanied by fear of losing, excessive caution, overestimating the opponent, mistakes, and uncontrolled breathing. All of this causes the body to tense up, muscles to tighten, and oxygen to become insufficient. You can see this when a fighter starts getting tired by the end of the first round. I’m not saying he didn’t gain experience in the UFC - of course he did after every fight - but not to the extent that he should be treated like an inexperienced rookie.

@@JohnFaulkner56 Sftu dude, His striking is unorthodox alot of fighters get shocked, Dustin talk about that, Khabibs striking is very good which matches with his wrestling, grappling sambo style. When you are well rounded like Khabib who has wrestling, grappling, judo and boxing. It is very hard to be perfect in all those areas.

No one dominated like him in the toughest division and he dominated his opponents in all categories whether low level, medium level or high level. People against him only clutch at straws about few opponents he fought who were 0-0 or 0-4 etc etc but don’t bat an eye at everything else 😂 literally cleaned out 155 with ease while he should have lost according to his haters because he didn’t beat anyone significant 😂
