"Pioneer"???.. Girl has 23 professional MMA bouts. Roxanne Modafferi, on the other hand, has 45. And she ain't bragging about being a pioneer. Natalia Silva, who was born in 1997, already has more pro bouts than Lauren. Although kudos to Lauren for beating Miesha Tate, a larger and younger opponent.

The point of thanking god is that he gives you the condition to even work hard and the mental to know what is good vs bad work. It's along the lines of doing a speed run in a video game. It's the designer of the game who gives you the game and mechanics to make the perfect run. It's why when you sin it's your fault but good is credited to god. I really don't think it takes away personal credit, just irritates nonbelievers because they don't see god and the world in the same way

To be fair, Stipe did get a retirement video package. Unfortunately, it was during UFC China at 6 in the morning that happened a week after his own retirement.

Jon retired outside the octagon after ducking the real contender for well over a year, and was a steroid cheat. I’m sure had he retired in the octagon after a fight the ufc would have done something big for him, but he retired on twitter lol. Stipe is crazy but not surprising. Dana always hated him so of course they slighted him for his retirement. Stipe should have had something crazy set up for him.
