It was a close fight all right and I was rooting for Usman to beat/dominate Leon and regain the title by decision, but Leon hands down has beaten Usman in this trilogy matchup, landing the more significant and damaging shots and showed good takedown and wrestling defense and ability to quickly scramble back up when taken down

Not really he still got taken down about the same as last fight and usman bombed on his face when he was getting back up and had him grabbing at the fence trying to cheat.

@@Peter-uo9km he did that once and he got points deducting for it. This time, he stuffed a lot of takedowns and even if he got took down, he got straight back up and didn’t let Usman grab and hold him or control him. In terms of overall performance, it was way better than the last fight for Leon.

I wanna go on a rant Colby doesn’t deserve the title shot and I’m a huge Colby fan. I even think he won the second Fight against Usman. But it’s like how you do even make this fight make sense. Leon beat and finished Kamaru a guy who beat Colby twice. Leon has a point how do you just sit out for a year NOT INJURED and slide your way back to a title fight. I don’t even think Jorge deserves it either even if he beat Burns. Burns deserves the title shot if he wins. the only reason Jorge gets a title shot is because Leon doesn’t like him.

You're right, the ufc can't force leon to fight anyone but they can strip him of his UFC title and then he would have to go compete at bellator or some 2nd rate organization. We know he doesn't want to do that and from a fan perspective hopefully that doesn't because then everyone loses.
