It was a close fight all right and I was rooting for Usman to beat/dominate Leon and regain the title by decision, but Leon hands down has beaten Usman in this trilogy matchup, landing the more significant and damaging shots and showed good takedown and wrestling defense and ability to quickly scramble back up when taken down

Not really he still got taken down about the same as last fight and usman bombed on his face when he was getting back up and had him grabbing at the fence trying to cheat.

@@Peter-uo9km he did that once and he got points deducting for it. This time, he stuffed a lot of takedowns and even if he got took down, he got straight back up and didn’t let Usman grab and hold him or control him. In terms of overall performance, it was way better than the last fight for Leon.

You're right, the ufc can't force leon to fight anyone but they can strip him of his UFC title and then he would have to go compete at bellator or some 2nd rate organization. We know he doesn't want to do that and from a fan perspective hopefully that doesn't because then everyone loses.
