things have kind of changed in regards to people showing up without being vetted. almost everyone debuting in the UFC now, has to be on a 6 fight streak or they don't get in. im guessing pay. They probably wanted more since he was making a bit more
@RedceLL19783 жыл бұрын
@@Saul1913 their statement said his fiancee became his manager and things went downhill from there. It says he was putting himself before other fighters, wanting special treatment, also apparently there were safety issues and that he put other fighters at risk and they let him go because he had become uncoachable. So yes, it was pay, but also apparently the kid had a very big ego and acted above everyone. That being said, well, yeah. He was above everyone, he was fighting for a championship. There's a 30 minute documentary on the kid and it shows his side of the story and actually shows he's not such a bad kid from what I can see.

He's actually a decent wrestler. There's definitely holes but if you can beat jack, you are good because Jack's beaten some guys that are killers on the ground at Cage Warriors.

Decent doesn’t cut it though if he wants to be welterweight champion. The division is wrestling/grappling heavy with Usman, Covington, Khamzat, etc. having a lifetime of wrestling experience. Even Burns, who has world class BJJ, couldn’t handle with Usman’s grappling.
