The kid has had 2 UFC fights and has already garnered more attention than all the guys you just named. the thing about all of the guys you just mentioned is they are just now breaking through in the way Paddy has, and they are way into their careers.

I am by no means putting any nation above any other I’m a very accepting person and I’m very indifferent towards other cultures, I’ll happily tolerate anyone who tolerates me but may I ask why do you have such an intense opposition to someone genuinely just liking the place and it’s history? I know more about the history of England than I do anywhere else and I love what I’ve learnt and what I’ve learnt is you could tell where Paddy is from a mile away. I work in construction in the country and do a hell of a lot of heritage work so fixing buildings steeped in history gives me a personal sense of fulfilment. What concerns me most is the opposition your posing if you consider it something so arbitrary. History can be lost and a sense of pride, not supremacy, is key to lessons not being lost. His jiu jitsu is on point. His striking shows potential. It's actually pretty good. He can take a hit. He's young af. He has a HIGH FIGHT IQ which will improve with experience. Also he is a good kid. God bless this young man.

Yeah his fight IQ is definitely higher than the average, but he still has to work on improving it. Because he is still a little sloppy at times, and all it takes it’s one mistake to get knocked out and lose all the confidence that he’s gained so far. I want to see him succeed. Definitely a better role model than McGregor. I’ve been seeing wayyyyy too many kids today thinking that it’s cool to be a complete A-hole like their lord and savior McNugget. I love this guys energy, it’s so funny watching him jump and clap with that goofy ass look on his face before a fight haha, it shows that he has zero intimidation going into the cage.

We’ve seen so many people try to replicate Conor’s style, look, attitude, etc and it always falls flat. In order for that to happen again it takes being genuine, Paddy is unique, entertaining, and above all genuine (and the necessity of being bloody good at fighting lol)

He is his own beast though. Hes not trying to be a next connor like many do they get the chest tattoo or paint their hair stupid colours to stand out but have the personalty of a wet bag. Paddy just has the qualities fans want to see hes magnetic. So the fans liken him to connor the new guy who will take ufc more mainstream. Bring old fans back too. Like my aussie mate was saying today proving paddy is everywhere already. My aussie mategot me into ufc but slept on it awhile himself but is lovin paddy.

It’s a catch-22 for many because rib-eye view Conor as a blueprint instead of an anomaly. Paddy is popular due to himself

I was just thinking that, this kid doesn't feel like a Conor ripoff, it doesn't even feel like he is trying to replicate Conor's hype. It just feels like he's full of tons of charisma and energy and is unapologetically himself, I like it. Breath of fresh air for a hype train in the UFC
