Very likeable fighter, comes to fight and speaks very well in interviews he has a brain in that head. When I say comes to fight its a figure of speech as entertainment value for the fans, if you want an example of a fighter who I dont think comes to fight just get on Fight Pass and watch gillespie @ 155lbs last few fights. I watch his fights to fall asleep quicker.

Gillespie comes to fight, that's why he has won all of his UFC fights and are undefeated overall in his MMA career with numerous fight of the night bonuses. The difference is that he fights for himself and not the fans. I think "THE GIFT" has something to offer in the Lightweight division.

Yh it’s most probably a staph infection. Quite common skin infection in MMA/fighting. Nothing major and should go away fairly quickly, otherwise antibiotics is available.

Hope this is just a segment he did when he was supposed to fight Rob, cause it looks like they tried to cover up his staph infection. If he has staph again on the same spots that’s real bad news for him going forward

I do believe Kennedy went into that fight totally compromised; if you think how much weight he cuts between camps, well he cut all that weight for a fight with Rashad but it didn’t take place, still made weight, then put all the pounds back on. Then shortly afterwards he went through the same big weight cut to fight Kelvin, so no wonder he felt tired for the first time ever that wasn’t healthy for him. Great performance nonetheless from Kelvin, it made a big fan of me, you see people who come over from boxing that don’t even hands that fluid.
