I always thought Amanda's stamina was suspect an knew to beat her one had to be tough to weather the early storm and get the fight to the ground but what surprised me about this fight is I didn't think there was any female fighter in the world that could stand toe to toe and slug it out with Amanda and come away with a W an that's what Pena did, while she choked her out on the ground at the last, Amanda was already gassed and beat before that, she basically beat Amanda at her own game.

Amanda definitely doesn't want to get that fight to the ground, her greatest strength is she's a powerful accurate striker, for Amanda to win she's gotta stay on her two feet avoid walking right into Penas jab and swarm her with heymakers to end it as quickly as possible. That fight goes to the ground Amanda is toast she'll get tired fast and end up getting choked out again.

The only reason Nunes gassed out is because she was on the ground 3.5 minutes in round 1. Grappling tires her out. Check her vs Valentina 1. She only lost the striking because she thought fire vs fire 🔥 she would KO Peña with 1 of her shots.
