My prediction is Robert stops Khamzat in round 3 by a brutal KO, and im def throwing some bucks on it over at Stake. The greatest thing about the UFC are the stories of its competitors, which it actively develops via access and footage. I get invested in fighters & their tale to get to the top of the hill, how they handle adversity, their personalities, &c. This is why the Contender series is so great. The viewer gets a history of the fighter prior, & sees them at the start of their career, allowing us to invest in them early. That tale, just yesterday, when that young bloke stepped up, and asked Dana for a chance. Dana shook his hand, and led him behind stage for a chat, to hear him out. He felt the story. That is a wonderful tale in the making, if the lad is legit, or deserves some development before gaining a chance. The fights themselves are but 5% of the tale...

It’s crazy that people thinks he gasses out, it’s not that he gasses out, he pretty much sprints with his pace of fighting and puts so much pressure on himself and his opponent. What that does is exhaust both fighters because khamzat is very skillful fighter both on feet and ground so trying to stop him also makes his opponents very gassed out but the downfall is he’s also tired himself as well. The only 2 fights people thought he was gassed was against Gilbert burn and usman, who are master lever grapplers themself and there whole career I don’t think they ever had cardio issues. Both of those 2 fights both fighters were tired because khamzat sprints at them which puts his opponent on defense mode for most of the fights but everyone highlights only khamzat being tired but don’t see his opponents being extremely exhausted as well. Fight with rob I saw a lot more calm khamzat, still sprint with pace but now managed it really well, meaning that he stayed patient and waited for his openings and instead of rushing them. He will only become more and more calmer and when he fully learn how to manage his pace I don’t see anyone stopping him at 185 possibly even 205 With Gilbert I truly believe he just wanted to strike because the first round he took him down so easily but when he dropped him he just tried to sprint for the Knock out
