he's not a big finisher but he's got a fantastic pace and an immense heart. good on him for taking the short notice fight. Leon is eite but there's no counting Belal out. Great action fighter with a sick skillset. he definitely deserves more attention.

how is he? i saw that he got alot of bouts going to decision. Is he fun to watch that does good combinations like holloway? or is he more of a wrestler that likes control-time over your opponent like khabib for example. Not hating on khabib some people like to watch that too, its just not the fighting-style i get excited to watch. I like his personality so dont hate.

@@sherminator1617 He's very well-rounded, he grapples a bit but he's pretty scrambly and submission oriented, and normally when he gets control he likes to hit and that's why he doesn't keep it very often. On the feet he really doesn't have that much pop but he's got a great jab and he puts together good body shots and combinations, not like the technical acumen of Holloway but he puts on a similar pace. watch the geoff neil fight, he loses but he gives Neil a pounding to the body in the process.

It makes me very happy to see the U.F.C. promoting many other fighter as well lately, and not just the top 5 of every division. This is good for promotion, great for up and coming combatants, and wonderful for the sport and organization as a whole.

There’s 4 L’s out of the top 5. Don’t think Edwards dominates Belal.. he’s more athletic but he ain’t fought in 2 years... won’t have the rhythm and timing

How can you not root for this guy?! Entertaining as hell and extremely likable. Having said that though, Leon Edwards has long deserved a shot at the top spot. So we’ll just have to see how this weekend goes.

@@ashirkhan8962 No he isn't, Colby is pushing a crazy pace with good volume and mixing it up. Belal does also fight at a good pace, but he doesnt really mix it up, he just lays there like a wet blanket. He looks stiff, slow and just overall unathletic.
