Better than adesanya, way more volume, better comibations (izzy doesent throw many combos), and he actually throws after his feints. Adesanya has a tendency to feint without capitalizing on the reactions, sean throws once he has a read

@@johnjohnsonstein8409 The Dricus that was swinging wide and telegraphed as fuck against Sean gets knocked the hell out by Israel. Sean doesn't possess heavy power and he relied pretty much on the jab. Israel has a considerable reach advantage. Styles make fights I don't think Dricus would beat Whittaker or Strickland in a rematch. Hell I don't think he beat Strickland he had about 8 seconds of control with his takedowns and he landed zero strikes on the ground. That shouldn't count for shit. He got beat the hell up by a jab and outstruck every single round.

I think most people favoured Sean in this fight. The question is how he does against someone that can grapple like Merab. Sean handpicked Chito because he knew he could beat him, even though there are at least 3 guys in the division more deserving of a shot.
@ImLaughingAtYou
@ImLaughingAtYou 3 ай бұрын
@@stephenhughes5156 He fought Aljo to get the belt. We saw him against that style. Only difference between them is Merab is on every "supplement" known to man. Also he picked him because he wanted to prove it was a fluke loss and because it was the biggest money fight in the division. Vera was getting more cheers than Sean. Merab doesn't have a fanbase. He's not going to bring a single penny to the PPV. As a matter of fact, people hate his style so much they probably won't buy the PPV because of his name.

This is why the UFC pushes him so hard. His style produces entertaining fights. Then they go and push Dagestani guys who make the worst fights. I don't get it, but at least they invested in Sean. Now I know why Adesanya held the belt for so long. Sean has that Adesanya toolkit & employed it to perfection. All that said, Chito didn't earn this title shot & Sandhagen predicted it perfectly. Sean uses the image to fool us into overlooking his cerabral and acuity of the fight game and life out of it. He's played the game perfectly and even the Ilia call out seemed sound. No misteps in his game, no hyperbole. Just skills.

This fight will go down as Sean in his prime. He drastically improves every fight, last night he didn’t look human. He came out with a second wind in the 5th round and looked like he was in the 1st round again. Absolutely insane cardio and overall performance by O’Malley. It was pure artwork. Felt like I was watching an artist paint a beautiful picture.

Sean put on a great performance tonight and kept going for all 5 rounds right until the end. I can’t see him getting past Marab but will be good to test him. I feel like that fight plays out like Charles vs Islam where Marab will finish him in 2. Looking forward to seeing it

You never know, don't forget what they said about Suga facing Aljamain and we saw what happened. I don't really want to see Merab trying to hump his leg for 5 rounds either.

I know Ilia vs Suga is a fantastic match but you have to give the next shot to Merab. Merab deserves a title shot after win against petr, Henry, Marlon, Aldo.

Yeah it doesn't make sense at all. You have to be a certain type of fighter to fight in a heavier weight class. I am thinking durable and just fighting by heart. Suga is an artist that is built like a tooth pick. He is not THAT type of a fighter.
