I just feel like Dana is Leary of having all Russians fighting each other for title. I Don’t think he wants that. Btw neither has even fought a contender yet. Getting ahead of yourselves. Shavkat at times seems a bit reckless to me. A top guy might be able to take advantage of that.

@@john55017 What? Khamzat has only beaten one ranked fighter in the leach. Cowboy Oliveira is a tough guy and Shavkat ran through him. Khamzat isn't going to be able to beat everyone so easily and the question is how will he respond will he gas out does he have a chin. Shavkat has already answered a lot and of course he could lose this weekend its mma and his opponent is another interesting prospect but that doesnt take away from this guys potential

This guy was working in a market, bazaar, and carrying heavy boxes for a living, basically a muscle guy. And in his free time, he would go to the gym to train until someone noticed him. Like Keeping his head upright and hands somewhat low, you can only get away with that sort of style if your defence is up there, his striking defence is terrible a fighting style like that will get him clipped against a striker with good power like Neil. Ask Charles Oliveria he fights in a similar fashion and always getting dropped, lucky his jiu jitsu/grappling good enough to help him get out of being finished.

@MrRobjs83
@MrRobjs83 2 жыл бұрын
@@BrianForTheWin not anymore, there's new blood at the top now with Luque, Belal, Sean Brady and Chimaev if he beats Burns and he'll probably be retired by the time Shavkat even makes it up to the top 5 assuming he does cause he's not even ranked yet but if he wins his next fight they better give him a ranked opponent afterwards. Usman will rematch Leon next and probably finish him too in the rematch and then he might just retire because he's gonna be 35 this year and basically coming to the tail end of his prime, if he does decide to stick around he's got some new blood in these young killers gunning for the belt like Luque and Chimaev specifically, those 2 are certainly capable of hurting him to say the least I'd say. Now to be fair I 100% believe he still would beat Belal Mohammed and Sean Brady and Leon Edwards. Not sure how he'd fair against Chimaev, Luque and Shavkat though.

It is gonna be hard for him to be promoted, that’s the saddest part. Not only the language barrier, but also the attitude. He is a true sportsman with the true sportsmanship-like attitude. However, unfortunately, these days UFC 100% prefers bigger mouth with much lesser skills. And it’s not their fault, it’s just people’s demand, a lot of them are after big drama show and trash talking, cause not all of those who watch are the fans. Hope we get back to GSP-like superstars. We’d value their insane skills foremost!
