Yeah it really does seem that way. The fight through it was teaching him to be mentally tough. He started throwing a shot or two but it had zero power he was just trying to get the student to go from oh shit to OK let's get back up and keep it going.

“Fight through it” Might just be the best advice Conor has ever given to his team, at least from this point. As he says this, he gives him a “break” by engaging in clinch but makes sure the fight goes on. Dope shit.

Conor looks great! I really think that his passion for the sport is what motivates him. Money at this stage of his life would not make much difference for him and he is a smart businessman, so he doesn't need fighting, at least not financially. I'm always happy to see him because he's the one that got me interested in MMA.

I think Conor mentally needs MMA more than he’ll ever need it financially. You can tell when a man craves structure and discipline, you must never turn off the control of that man. He got rich and took the button with him, so now he’s lost. But this right here was mentoring, this was coaching, he showed him exactly what he was made of by making him get up and push through it. Yea it was deliberate, yea she lived shot drops you like a rock, and yea you’re gonna feel it in the cage.

Be honest everyone would've benefited more if the teams were switched mike with his wrestling background would've have suited well with the new comers while conors unique style and tips even mindset could've refreshed and renewed the vets hell they could've even prepared him for Chandler 😢 sad they didn't execute on that.

I know that feeling, that noise has a special feeling attached to it, lol. Obviously the adrenaline hits different, when it's an actual fight in the cage, but still.. You have no idea how a body shot can shut your soul, until you've had one, there's no learning how to fight through it, unless you fight through it.

Bro, why is everyone getting at Conor for this? He cracked him with a few good shots alongside some gentle ones, put him down with one and then gently encouraged him back up to push through it so that he knows next time or in the cage that he won't be broken by shots like that? Conor didn't run up and kick him clean in the head after.
